"All new original pieces" written and arranged by William Long. Mr. Long has 43 years of public school instrumental teaching experience. It is from this experience that the "New" Motivational Series has been developed. Music written on level to match the students' expected skills and performance ability (if they can play it, they will practice it). (Series "A") is for beginning bands in school grades 4th, 5th and 6th. (Series "B") is for bands in school grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. Each selection is written specifically to reinforce a rhythm or melodic figure, and will appear at some point for all instruments.
